When it comes to “sustainability-related” news, this past weekend was kind of a bummer.
First, I read that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere surpassed a dreaded milestone, reaching levels not seen on earth since the Pliocene Epoch. That was about three million years ago, when the climate was decent enough for the likes of mastodons and saber-toothed cats, not necessarily present-day humans.
